The light bounced on the muddy truck, and made the diesel gas cap light up. I loved the geometric connection and it encapsulates this idea of simplicity in cohesiveness.

The light passing through the curtain created something even more beautiful, it was stunning to see something flowing in the wind. Textures can create an abstract composition since it's never the same.

Once more, creating a symmetrical pathway between the door and the furnace. The muted colors give a sense of plainness. The towel on the floor is my roommates idea of a fake welcome mat, crumpled from use to a point where it's practically useless.

The unsettling angle capturing the light of the window gives a feeling of dread. I always think the balcony of my room looks dull. The nighttime lighting made everything muted, adding to that unnerving feeling.

Captured in blue light, the orange of the room looks even more bright against the window. Squares are a common theme in my work because I enjoy the idea of formality mixed with conceptual ideas.

Capturing the softness of my friend, framing her own face with her hands. The muted lighting adds a sense of comfort. The bandaid on her cheek is from a piercing injury from an anti-eyebrow. I find it fascinating how fast my friend can adapt, and how she switched to a simple eyebrow piercing instead.

Square focus in the center, with strange abstraction around the frame. The hoop adds a bright playfulness. The top right and bottom left add a balance to the frame that I enjoy. Once again, adding concept to formality.
