Focused on the waters movement on a leaf, used a high shutter speed and low aperture to focus on the plant. I find focusing on the water reminds you to take it slow.

I saw a plant that had more yellow than the other ones around it, wanted to capture the beauty in its abnormality. The idea of abnormality still being beautiful makes my work feel more powerful.
Pipe

The matching auburn of the pipe and the multi-colored brick wall created an interesting composition. I liked seeing the possibilities it created. The industrialism inherently causes formality.
Valve

Beauty in the mundane, focusing on the things that aren't supposed to be seen. The protruding red is obnoxious, despite the fact that it's a hiding function.
Stadium

Wanted to focus on the juxtaposition of the black and the red. The seats were in such random positions, that I found it intriguing. The composition was more formalist for me, but I still enjoyed the simplicity.
Exit

A finality to the project. A clean exit to signify the end of your journey. The square is bright red, contrasting the green in the background. I wanted to reverse the expectations of the arrow pointing towards the extra space.
